Dogs are incredible companions, but sometimes their behaviours can leave us scratching our heads. Whether your dog is pulling on the leash, barking excessively, struggling with being left alone, or showing fear or aggression, I’m here to help you understand their behaviour.

Together, we’ll dive deep into your dog’s world to understand why they act the way they do. We’ll uncover the triggers behind their behaviour and what reinforces it. From there, I’ll create a customised therapy plan that works for both of you, fostering a happier, more harmonious relationship.

Some of the most common behavioural problems in dogs:

  • Pulling on the leash
  • Peeing inside the house
  • Being unable to stay at home alone
  • Barking at the doorbell or visitors
  • Showing fear or aggression towards people or other animals
  • Being reactive to sounds, such as fireworks or thunderstorms
  • Barking in the car, or being afraid of getting in the car
  • Jumping on people
  • Eating from the street
  • Chasing bicycles, runners, or other moving objects
  • Ignoring commands

Didn’t see your dog’s specific issue? No worries! Reach out, and we’ll tackle it together.

As a certified Hondenspecialist (Dog Specialist) I prioritise building a trusting and positive relationship between you and your dog. My focus lies on understanding your environment, communication, and behaviour to implement practical, tailor made solutions to address any behavioural issue.

I rely on proven, science-based methods like positive reinforcement techniques, i.e. rewarding dogs when they show good behaviour, instead of punishing them for what they do wrong. This creates a safe, enjoyable learning experience for both you and your dog.

Understanding the relationship between owner(s) and dog(s) is a key aspect of every therapy plan, and a powerful tool that can be leveraged to bring the desired results.

Every dog and owner duo is unique, so there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. We’ll look at your dog’s personality, history, environment, and your goals to design a plan that makes sense for your life.

You’ll walk away empowered, confident, and ready to see real results.
